11 More Days!

It has come to my attention that some of you don't know what time the reunion is scheduled to start, or how much the tickets are.

We are scheduled to begin with dinner at 6:00pm. The inn told us that there is no time limit on when we have to be out of there, so plan on spending some time eating, drinking, and hanging out!

It is a BYOB event and we are only allowed to have alcohol in the great room. If it goes outside, we were told by the Inn that it's illegal and you can get arrested. Also, they had a problem with a recent reunion with people being really loud in the hallways disturbing the people who were staying there. So...let's have fun, but keep it in the main room...k? :)

One last thing...the tickets are $35 per couple to be paid upon arrival to help cover the costs of catering, DJ, etc. Very recently, we were informed that drinks and cups will not be provided with the catering. So, instead of raising the cost of attendance, we're asking people to pitch in by bringing some drinks and cups.

I can't wait to see you guys then! :)

59 and Counting!

As of now, we have 59 confirmed attendees to the class of 1999 reunion! I'm really excited that there is so much interest. Brian Gilliam sent out letters to everyone we have addresses for, so check your mail! If you didn't get a letter, please email me at Jessica@JessicaEdwardsPhotography.net and let me know if you are planning on attending. We need to know how many people are planning on making it so we know how much food to have catered.

I'm estimating that the cost will be around $30 per couple, but that is not set in stone yet. We are trying to keep the cost as low as possible while still paying for renting the Inn, food, drinks, DJ, equipment, etc.

Once it gets a little closer to time, I'll let everyone know the exact cost as well as what time it will be starting. I assume the start time will be around 6:00 or 7:00 and will last well into the night.

Awesome Helpers!

I want to send out a very special thank you to Brian Gilliam and Jessica (Fouts) Morris.

Brian is taking on the responsibility of mailing out letters to everyone that we have contact information for. We need to hear from you about if you are coming and if you're bringing a guest so we can figure out how much food to buy.

If you're planning on coming, email me (jessica@jessicaedwardsphotography.net) or Brian Gilliam (marinerecon702001@yahoo.com) and let us know if you're bringing a guest.

Jessica (Fouts) Morris has been taking care of the menu. If you have any special diet requests, please send her an email (jm211half@hotmail.com). We're going to be having finger foods (chicken strips, meat balls, veggies, soft drinks, etc) and it is BYOB. If you'd like to have a drink, you have to bring it yourself, but drinking is limited to the Great Room only!

Please keep in mind when deciding whether to bring children, that drinking will be involved. Most of those who I've spoken to are not bringing their kids, but if you really want to, we suggest that you bring them for the first hour or so, then make arrangements for someone to pick them up.

It's Official!

The date for our 10 year reunion is going to be August 29, 2009 at the Benham Inn!

OMG, We're Old!

Well, here it is.

Our 10 year high school reunion.

This blog will keep everyone up to date on the progress of the reunion planning. It looks like it will be held at the Benham Inn on August 29. This isn't set in stone yet, but Im hoping that it will be soon!
